Ready or not, infected or not, people are either already self-isolating or preparing for it. In this session, we’ll use the terms “Remote” and “Remote Work” a lot but we’re mostly talking about just one aspect of remote; work from home. For some, you’ve already started and are hitting some serious roadblocks, others are planning. We’ll try to cover all the best practices to help both groups. From Employee Engagement to IT, the key to your success will be good preparation, plenty of training, and ongoing support.
It’s far too easy to think that remote is nothing more than a laptop, a phone, and an internet connection. The gap between part-time remote and full time remote can be as vast as the gap between “some” remote workers and an entirely virtual organization, especially one that springs into existence overnight.
