Paul Pellman is at the helm now, the company announced on Monday.

YouEarnedIt Inc. has a new CEO.

The software company that offers companies tools to reward employees and build camaraderie on Monday announced Paul Pellman as its new leader. He also will serve as chief executive of HighGround, which YouEarnedIt acquired in July.

Co-founder Autumn Manning had served as CEO since launching the business in 2013. Manning will act as YouEarnedIt chief evangelist and adviser.

“I am forever grateful for the opportunity to create and grow something as special as YouEarnedIt,” Manning said in a statement. “It has been humbling to realize the product vision of delivering a better experience to employees across so many organizations. Building YouEarnedIt’s culture and team is also something I’m incredibly proud of. I’m excited to see what’s to come under Paul’s leadership, pushing YouEarnedIt/HighGround to greater heights and having an even bigger impact on employees and cultures everywhere.”

Pellman — who began as YouEarnedIt CEO in October, according to his LinkedIn page — is a veteran company executive who has held senior positions at Google, Adometry and Hoovers Inc. Prior to joining YouEarnedIt, he spent about four years overseeing the go-to-market activities of Google Analytics 360. Pellman had been Adometry's CEO until Google acquired the business in 2014.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Harvard University.

“What Autumn has created with YouEarnedIt is a testament to her ambition to push the boundaries of how we see our lives at work,” Pellman said in a statement. “Over the past few months as I’ve immersed myself in the company and the HR industry, I’ve become more and more excited for this opportunity.”

Manning won an Austin Business Journal Best CEO award and a Profiles in Power award in 2018. She shepherded the company as it obtained an investment for an undisclosed sum from Vista Equity Partners last year.
